Booking and Payment Terms:
A reservation is deemed to be accepted when we have received your reservation and confirmed it to you in writing and: (i) payment in full of the total price; Or (ii) payment of a partial amount specified by us at the time of booking. If the online payment is less than the total value of your stay, the balance may be paid directly to Hotel Liberty Sitges either at check-in or check-out or, of course, at any time earlier.
A reservation number is automatically assigned at the time of booking. Please be sure to quote this number in all communications should cancellation or amendment be required. The reservation number is valid for booking by the Hotel Liberty Sitges team.
Bookings are guaranteed with a valid credit or debit card or by PayPal, with receipt of a bank transfer or other chargeable payment method. The total amount due to confirm your booking is indicated in your booking confirmation. The booking may be automatically cancelled if a payment is invalid or a credit card is declined by your bank for any reason. Any additional goods and services purchased during the stay must be paid for directly at the hotel and no later than check-out. In addition, we reserve the right to cancel a booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation in the event of unacceptable behaviour towards staff or guests causing a disturbance or disruption to other guests at the hotel, or if the hotel has information for a fake or manipulated reservation. Hotel Liberty Sitges reserves the right to rebook booked reservations to at least alternative accommodation and booked room categories, preferably in Sitges city centre, should unforeseen events (for example, weather-related, political, economic or danger to health and life) occur, or if an overnight stay appears unacceptable to the guest(s) (for example, in the event of defects and/or damage caused by water, electricity or similar circumstances). The hotel undertakes to provide alternative, at least equivalent accommodation nearby at no extra cost to the guest. The guest has the right to reject the alternative and demand a full refund of his reservation price. A refund beyond this is not possible.
By making a booking, you also agree to the use of all information provided to Hotel Liberty Sitges and the booking website(s) through the booking. This information will never be shared with third parties and will only be used for internal purposes to organise and optimise operations and guest services.
All prices include the statutory basic tax. Prices are correct (unless there is a pricing error) if the booking confirmation shows the number of guests, dates, nights, room/category and additional and special services.
Taxes and service charges: 10% VAT is included in the accommodation price. Additional services and goods are currently taxed at 21% in Spain. Current € 0,70 tourism tax per person per night is exclusive and can be modified by the regional government at any time (the tourism tax set by the regional government applies!).
RATES & CONDITIONS
Cancellation Conditions First:
Bookings in the First rate enjoy the highest flexibility for our small hotel! You will receive a full refund of your deposit if you cancel in writing via email or via your web access with your reservation number up to a maximum of 7 days before arrival. In case of cancellation between 0-6 days before arrival or in case of no-show, we charge the deposit amount as cancellation fee.
For bookings in the First rate (with/without breakfast), we charge a deposit of 30% of the total price of the booked nights to mutually secure the reservation. The balance, including any additional services and tourism tax, is only due on arrival.
Cancellation conditions Business
Bookings in the Business rate enjoy high flexibility in cancellation without losing the deposit! If the confirmed reservation is cancelled in writing up to 14 days before arrival (the identical date of sending and receipt applies) or via web access with the reservation number, your deposit is converted into a voucher with which you can choose a new reservation at the Hotel Liberty Sitges at any time for a stay within the following 12 months. The deposit will be fully taken into account and will reduce the invoice amount of the new reservation accordingly.
The voucher can only be used for a new reservation that takes at least the amount of the voucher (deposit) into account. A (partial) payout is not possible! In case of cancellation between 0-13 days before arrival or in case of no-show or if the voucher is not redeemed within 12 months, we will only charge the deposit amount (30%). We allow the voucher to be passed on or sold with the prior agreement of an administrator of Hotel Liberty Sitges SL.
For bookings in the Business rate (with/without breakfast), we charge a deposit of 30% of the total price of the booked nights to mutually secure the reservation. The remaining payment, including any additional services and the tourism tax, is only due on arrival.
Cancellation conditions Economy rate:
Bookings in the Economy rate save up to 40%, depending on the length of stay! Please note: The deposit must be paid in full, i.e. 100%, at the time of booking and will not be refunded in the event of a necessary cancellation!
When choosing the Economy fare or alternative fares without refund, we strongly recommend a travel cancellation insurance to cover yourself against unforeseeable travel changes, for example due to professional or health reasons. By the way, many credit cards often include automatic travel cancellation insurance when you pay. Check your options.
For bookings in the Economy rate (with/without breakfast), we charge a deposit of 100% of the total price of the booked nights to mutually secure the reservation. The remaining payment, including any additional services and the tourism tax, is only due on arrival.
A reclaim of the advance payment or the possibility of a rebooking is not possible for personal or external reasons (such as a current Corona infection, Corona restrictions in the home or departure country, weather conditions or other political, economic or personal circumstances)! In return, we guarantee the lowest price for a reservation.
